Opportunity Description

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our logistic management team.

  • Managing and overseeing the daily      operations of the accounting department
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting      data and producing financial reports or statements.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper      accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Periodically report data analysis to head      office in Taiwan. 

Job Duties

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations      of the accounting department including:

o month and end-year process

o accounts payable/receivable

o cash/check/ACH/Wire receipts.

o general ledger

o payroll and utilities

o treasury, budgeting

o cash forecasting/ Business financial forecasting & budgeting.

o revenue and expenditure variance analysis

o process check payments

o fixed asset activity

o debt activity

  • Monitor and analyze accounting data      and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting      methods, policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations.
  • Improve systems and procedures      and initiate corrective actions.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to      ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and      records to document transactions.
  • Required to lead accounting team. 

Education

  • CPA background is preferred. 
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the field or in a related area.      Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • College degree is required.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven working experience as Accounting      Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, QuickBooks,      accounting software and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of      data
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and      accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to direct and supervise.

As Management position, CS manager will lead CS team and help with problem solving.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule outbound and inbound shipments.
  • Provide input and complete freight bills.
  • Assist with communications with carriers when issues arise.
  • Make recommendations regarding transportation, routing, carrier      selection and assist to meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare and review invoices, BL, AWB, HBL, MBL for accuracy.
  • Prepares invoice, bill of ladings, AES and other freight related      documentation for commercial freight invoices and for ocean FCL/LCL &      air cargo.
  • Ensure all supporting documents are accurate, available, and      applicable to the customer order/shipment.
  • Organize pick-up schedules as applicable for cargo.
  • Request Bills of lading from shipping lines.
  • Scan and upload invoices, shipping documentation, as part of      company guidelines.
  • Compile and submit accurate, regular and timely reports as      requested.
  • Provide customer statistics regarding shipments via email or      through verbal transmission.
  • Keep communication flowing with customers on a daily basis to      ensure the highest customer service.
  • Process new rate requests, especially during the booking portion,      along with pertinent information to pricing for rate submission and      approval from customer.
  • Report and document any irregularities to upper management      immediately.
  • Lead team experienced is preferred. 

Education

  • High school or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in the      field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of field’s concepts,      practices, and procedures.

Job Duties

  • Direct and monitor the workflow of the Sales      team.
  • Set sales team profit goals and hold team      members accountable for goals and recognize or discipline as needed.
  • Develop and manage Sales budgets.
  • Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio      and market share in relation to preset standards, industry, and economic      trends, and also sales and margin goals.
  • Day-to-day Sales staff management and      development including Sales recruitment, hiring, performance coaching and      annual reviews for direct reports—all with full support from the corporate      office.
  • Cold Call; Making quotation to clients; Sales      Call are required. 
  • Business Traveling is required.

  • Ability to make quick, smart business      decisions.
  • Previous management/supervisory      experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively train others,      preferably with experience in doing so.
